I put the lift back in, had the bushing installed, and like magic...the noise is gone. Thanks TacomaWorld!

Very informative. Thanks. I don't expect my dealer will supply the labor to install the part. Also, I fully expect they will threaten to void the warranty if I have the bushing installed at all. I will check it out with them though.

Yes, in 4WD the noise goes away. But what I don't understand is if it's the bearing, why did the noise go away when I removed the lift?

2016 Tacoma with a 2" leveling kit(just space over strut and skid plate spacers). I could hear a noise in the front at around 25mph. As described by another posting "a rythmic humm". Installed Drop Diff kit(again, just spacers). Noise still there. Dealer said to take the life out before they...
