What was your first car?

I first started driving a 1987 Mazda RX7 2+2 auto freshman year in high school but it wasn't my car and the owner ruined it by trying to flush the trans. My actual first car was a weak ass 1997 Honda Civic EX auto. It made a monstrous 127 horses and 107 tq at the crank from a D16Y8 SOHC VTEC 1.6 4 popper which they dynoed at about 98 horses to the ground. I threw an intake and header on it and I thought I was the fastest **** on the road. Thank you loaded down Dodge diesel work truck for blowing the doors off of it. :D:D:D

Those 6cyl Dodge diesel trucks can be pretty wicked.. I almost bought one instead of the taco but I really didn't need that much truck.

They were fun vehicles though.
I remember one night a made a right turn I put it down in 2nd gear and let my foot off the clutch and nothing... Just. vroom.. Vroom... I thought damn clutch went out... Nope... I walked around the passenger side and the wheel and axel was sticking out about 2 feet.. I almost lost the whole right rear axle.. Everytime I drove it something always went wrong.. Lmao [emoji23][emoji23]

Hahaha. That’s terrible man. I think everyone needs a first car like that. It makes you appreciate a decent one.

Already shared in the stollen thread.
I’ll share again here. Picture is very close to what mine looked like. Same color and beat up body.
65’ mustang with the 289, had dual exhaust with glass packs. Looked like ****, sounded cool. The interior was black and it had a heater. My girlfriend at the time had a cherried out 66’ her dad rebuilt for her. Good times. 66C44AD9-74CC-4722-B825-A4FD6F45E0A3.jpeg
