It really doesn’t matter where you are a natural disaster of some kind could happen. It just seems like the West Coast is always on fire anymore and the East Coast has always gotten slammed with hurricanes.
I like my mountains but flooding can be a real issue here. It wiped out half my County in 2016. 23 dead. Just live on the high ground away from the creeks and river banks and you’ll be ok.

Not all of us can drive pros and live on the hill. :(

Hahaha. The OffRoad I have now is by far the most expensive truck I’ve owned. I could have shopped around and gotten a Pro for $3-4K more but I didn’t want it.
Its cool if someone has a Pro but there’s nothing wrong with a 2.7l SR model either. They’re all the same trucks with a few upgrades.

Dude, the livestock.... Back in 99 when Floyd and Dennis beat the piss out of the OBX, Carolina flooded like this, and I ended up there supporting a load of line crews. From Kill Devil Hills all the way into Williamston, the dead livestock was bloated and horrible for weeks. That smell is only rivaled by burnt human flesh, imo.

Hey, I lived outside of Park City (Summit Park) for 5 years. A beautiful place. We got 400 inches of snow each year. That came with its own problems. Tough on houses and driving.
But the skiing is fanominal! Haha
I'm about 30 mins from Sunrise Ski Resort so I deal with piles of snow but it's totally worth it. Haha
