UPDATE 12/02/2020. THESE ARE IN STOCK. NEW VERSION 2 IS $30 DELIVERED. BETTER BUILT WITH THICKER MATERIALS. SEE ON EBAY AT 2016-2021 Tacoma Front License Plate Mount Bracket Stealth Replacement (V2)
This is a replacement for the big black plastic bracket that, over time, will dig into and damage the top side of your painted bumper cover. Completely machined, tongue and groove style, and each one hand fitted together at assembly. Completely hidden from view behind your license plate. No drilling. No grille removal. Offers better plate protection than my original small bracket by using 4 screws to mount the plate vs only 2 screws in the original bracket. Accommodates specialty license plate frames. Simply remove your stock dealer installed front bracket and install this one with provided stainless mounting screws, rubber isolators and stainless license plate screws. It is reversible for high or low plate mounting for those with lower grille light bars. Every bracket is fully machined, assembled and test fit with a license plate prior to shipping. A 5 minute swap. Ships free by USPS Priority Mail.

For the record these are not merely 4 plates screwed together. They are 4 precision machined, grooved and fitted plates that I hand fit on each assembly. The grooved fits are so tight they actually hold together before I install the assembly screws. All plates are also precision machined for lengths and hole locations. The material is better grade 6061 aluminum that is much stronger, more expensive and flex free, than your local Home Depot grade 6063. I also only use quality stainless steel fasteners for both the assembly and mounting screws. I spent over 40 years in the machinist and quality assurance trades so quality is guaranteed and I back that up with a money back return policy.

I appreciate that. The new ones were a lot more labor but everyone seems to like them. I still run the small bracket but people wanted a 4 screw bracket for their specialty frames. These do hold up to car washes too. I still remove my plate on the small bracket for the car wash. Only takes a minute or 2. Glad you liked yours. For the extra material and hardware the new ones are a better bargain.

Worst part of my deal is figuring out a predictable resulting meal plan. Eat pizza today no problem. Smell pizza tomorrow and rock the outhouse. All I can say is keep your gallbladder as long as possible. If you are a vegan then will probably be ok. If you are a meat and cheese eater, like me, then that gallbladder is a needed commodity. I wasn't given any good options. It was either quit eating everything I like, and go vegan, or take that gallbladder. Easy choice for me. My freezer stays full of steaks and beef. The hernia was an easy recovery. Just no stretching or lifting for a few weeks.

Meat! Ok...more fish and fowl than anything else, but I gotta rock that steak/burger/bbq. Just not more than a couple-three times a week and never on the same day. Fiber.....f^cking fiber!

Cheers brudda! I feel your pain.

Friend in my Oldsmobile club still hurting 6 months out of single hernia repair. But he doesn’t slow down or take it easy. [emoji19]

Best time to schedule elective surgeries is late November early December so you can relax through the holidays. :) My hernia repair I stayed off work for 6 weeks and it took about a year before I felt completely recovered from it. First 3-4 weeks I didn’t lift anything. I’m good to go now. Been 2 years a couple weeks ago. No complications.

I’m really better than I expected...except when I stoop/stretch too much. That sharp knife pain and I’m in the Tylenol and occasional Oxy. But that’s rare. Finding my limits. Just don’t know about extended squatting for front plate R2 and deep 6 the air dam. After the rain of course.
