2nd gen frame rot

Just left the dealership and my Tacoma 09 is good ,they will order the anti corrosive spray and apply it on my next appointment.

I've heard people comment that the coating only covers the issues, and doesn't really stop the rust over the longer term.
I'm sure others can be more specific about their experiences. But like I said. I've heard comments of people not recommendin it.
 
My son has these issues on his 08 and isn’t getting much help.... might be time to break out the bigger bark and bite!!

I don't think so. My truck is a 2006 and I am getting new frame in 2 months (end of March). To give you an idea of how long the wait is, my inspection was back in July 2018.

Any chance they replaced your Drive Shaft? I'm pretty sure I need a new one. LOL.

Will need to read about this further bc this is starting on my truck in front due to a battery acid dripping on chassis and could spread fairly quicker
