What’s up guys I’ve been in the process of making my sliders and about to mount them just wanted to see what you guys think. My deal is I’m trying to decide if I should weld them straight to my frame or should I make brackets that will make them bolt on to my frame. I need some pros and cons so fire away IMG_1188.jpg

Mine will be welded to the frame when the time comes. I'll also be working on that PITA cab-mount that they refuse to redesign for some reason.... lol.
Just be sure that you don't want to remove them anymore when you weld them on.... or make brackets to bolt on like you said, then when you're content, put a few stitches around the plate to the frame... happy medium? Good work!

Depends on how extreme you’re planning on using them. Bolt on is nice because you can always take off fix and change easier. Welded on is nice for the strength and durability in more extreme situations. I’d probably want bolt on just because I tend to change my mind on things and go a different direction. I also don’t think I’d put myself into a position where I’d use them to the max.
Those look good are you going to paint them or powder coat?

I will probably end up going with some powder coat. I like the idea given about making brackets to bolt on then I could eventually weld them on. If anyone of you guys have bolt ons what size is your hardware to bolt them on I’m guessing half inch
