Aftermarket inner fender liners

look at how much is open without them..... you can check the oem difference on your truck, but with nothing on there, alot is exposed to the elements

bojangles, what clips did you use to hold the units in place? Are the OE units reusable, and how do you remove them?

Thanks a lot for your help.

This makes life easy and gets used for other clips. U can use a screwdriver, tho it may break the clips.

As for securing, the oem clips seem weak imho.
I used bolts at first with washers and nylocks on the top portion and these on the bottom section (no weight).. i have since swapped to using these all around, they pop right in and are secure. Tested to 100mph "on a closed course".

I got two bags and have a few extra clips now.

And youre welcome

Thank you again for the info, bojangles. One last question. I PROMISE it is the last question. How thick is the material? I assume 1/8 inch.

Thanks.

Sorry the toolbox is a pita to get to for a tape measure right now, but how about the stock version next to the new splash guards/skirts?

The stock crap is so thin, it almost looks like this is a picture of a sheet of rubber delaminating or something. Its not, its a pic i took a long time ago of the comparison of the stock vs aftermarket gaurds/skirts.

The paper thin thing on top is stock
Click on pic for fullsize if u want
