Air dam (front)

The off-road and pro don’t have them. I guess they figure you’ll just rip them off. Doesn’t make much sense to throw some skid plates and a higher approach angle on a truck and then put a piece of plastic that hangs down three inches off the front.

That's how I felt. Then they come along and hang 4 mudflaps on the truck which have a life expectancy of 4 minutes.

Looks better with it? Or without it? For sport and sr5 models. I’m debating on removing it. Heard it affects gas mileage slightly. What y’all think?
If you enjoy hearing more windnoise at highway speeds and a minor drop in fuel mileage, by all accounts remove it. You have to ask yourself why toyota would have installed it if it didn't do some good. They'd be the first ones to save a buck if it didn't.

I had mine off for awhile, liked the looks but seemed like it was more twitchy when on the road, especially when next to an 18 wheeler. Put it back on and to me seems like it drives better. Can't comment on gas mileage because mi e is all over the place depending on how far I go and how many drive thrus I go thru.
