What have you done to your Tacoma today?

I went for my free oil change again last month, and they wouldn't put synthetic in for me. I would have paid him more money for it too. He said that's what the factory recommends.

Leveled using 5100 shocks on front, new rims, tires and headlight. alignment soon.

Today had some electrical work done. The trailer hitch receptacle shorted out the rear running lights. Then adjusted the passenger side coilover. :thumbsup:

Every dealer is different. Usually they have no problem charging extra for the synthetic. However, they make you sign a document saying you went against their word and didn't use regular.
 
TJ. I just bought a new Tacoma. Why would the dealerships prefer that you use regular motor oil over synthetic? Is regular actually better for Tacoma trucks than Synthetic

My toyotacare oil changes are w/ regular too. And they're free. So it's getting regular until its not free anymore. When i start doing them myself i'll use mobil one like i did on every other vehicle i had.
 
Mine doesn't really fall under today but I upgraded from 245/70r16 highway tires to 265/75r16 all terrains both sets are general grabber and I highly recommend either to anyone who want superior traction and minimal road noise

Okay, thanx. That reminds me, when you mentioned FREE. Mine is a 2013. Is the free oil change good for 2 years, or so many miles. They told me this stuff I just forgot it. I haven't even gotten my first one yet

2 yrs, 25k miles whichever comes first
