What did you do with your Taco today

Where do you live? Is this awell know problem with F150s?

I’m in Indianapolis. The frame rusted from the inside out on the F150. I had been spraying it with FluidFilm and touching up the rusty spots each fall, thinking that I was protecting it, but salt and crap built up inside the box frame I believe and rotted it from within. If you do a search on F150 frame rust, you’ll see that it’s a fairly common issue with that era truck (2004-2008).

I just got notice in mail to check my frame on the Taco. At least Toyota steps up and takes care of the problem and doesn't tell you to go pound sand !

Today I’m doing 15,000 mile maintenance. I’m still loving my 18 TRDORDCSB. I don’t off road but I like the truck. I agree that the engine isn’t the best V6 out there but I believe in the reliability of Toyota. I drive an hour away to the dealer my mom uses because my dealer sucks. Overpriced and I had a bad experience years ago with a Tercel and won’t go back. Hoping this truck lasts 15 more years.
