Hey Guys,
Lots of play in my steering wheel. I just got my frame replaced and while the dealership was doing that I got to drive a brand new Rav4 for a couple weeks so now the play in my steering wheel seems a lot more apparent. LOL.

Where should I start? U joints? Worm gear?

Did it have the steering wheel play before the frame replacement?

Yeah. I think it is bothering me more now since I drove a new vehicle for a couple weeks. Plus driving down the hwy it's a battle to keep it straight, especially this morning, it was pretty windy.

Most trucks have steering wheel play to be more forgiving so they don’t tip if you make a sharp small adjustment on the wheel. There is ways to fix it but I don’t recommend it, it’s a truck not a race car.

Thanks ook, I've had it for 4 years now and I know it's not my VR6 GTI LOL. If you want to share you're 'fix it' method I would appreciate it.
