Towing

I was in Seattle two weeks ago and was amazed at all the Tacos I saw. Also about four out of five had caps.

Nice combo. Enjoy.

I live in bc, about 2.5 hours north of oosyoos and with all the mountain passes the only trailer I can afford to tow is a pop up tent trailer weighing in at a cool 2100lbs fully loaded. Lol gas prices here are unreal. Should never cost $93.00 to fill my 17 trd sport.

Hi everybody I just thought I'd touch a little on towing a travel trailer with my 2017 Tacoma TRD offroad V6 automatic and what I experienced with towing my 22.5 foot lance travel trailer weight 5000lbs dry I made two trips to Osoyoos in the Okanogan B.C.Allison Pass was the highest elevation gain 1342m Had Ect on so transmission wouldn't keep gear searching and in sport mode 3td to 5th gear range worked really well I was quite amazed at how well the truck handled used 7000lb equalizer weight hitch to level everything out very little sway at 65 miles per hour I had all together about 5600lbs total evenly distributed weight with no problems.Hope this helps anyone looking at purchasing and pulling a trailer with your truck. Here's a couple of my pictures with my truck and View attachment 13463View attachment 13464
trailer in Osoyoos

I am new to the forum and I am impressed with your rig. I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD 4WD and pull a 21ft Palomino Off Road Lite, max 4,000Lb towing capacity and it pulls nice. However, I am looking at something a little longer for my wife and I. Thanks for posting.
