Hi All,
New member here looking at getting a 2nd truck - 2007 TRD 4wd with 330,000 kms. First truck is 1990 V6 that is very battered but still running pulling firewood out of muddy trails. With regular oil changes, I am not concerned about the 330k engine but wondering what hidden issues are likely. My annual mileage is less than 10k and I am budgeting $500/year for issues on top of consumables.
The current owner has fixed some minor issues and we expect a successful safety inspection which is fairly comprehensive in Ontario. I asked for a compression test as part of the inspection but they told me not to bother. Is there anything 'Tacoma-specific' I should ask them to look at ?
