What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Hey everyone little off topic. But maybe trading my 96 Tacoma 3.4 auto ex cab (see pics) for an 85 reg cab with the small back window, 22re 5sp solid axle even only issue is that the 85 needs a dash, little drivers floor work and no middle console, so were can I get the dash, and etc any input counts thanks

Bumper

I had it installed. Not sure. I know they complained that it came with no directions. It took them a little longer than other trucks. Went with rigid LEDs in bumper. Then installed 20" CREE LED light bar on prerunner bar.

First oil change

I was about 100 miles late, but the engine didn't seize up so I guess all is well. I've been using 89 octane with no ethanol. Is this okay? I've only done it for a few tanks. So I haven't noticed anything one way or the other. I'm guessing that 50 thousand miles down the road I won't have all the gunk in my motor

Dude, are you serious? Don't get me wrong, I love the classic 85 22re body style. I hope he's giving you some cash along with the 85 taco? I mean, you could sell your 96 for around $5, 000 or so, then im sure you could find a older taco in a little bit better shape than the one you posted a pic of. But do what you want, this is just my opinion. Good luck.

As for your parts, you could always look into junk yards, or JCwhitney...
 
Found out I'm loosing my license (thanksgiving day) for 90days. Looks like she will be here with me for the winter!

Statey got me 14 over (later found out my Speedo was off 4.2mph) she thought hey I'm gonna just give him 3points on his junior's operators. And in VT 3+ points on one violation with a juniors is 90days no license for me, but hey get through it live learn. But I'm thankful I'm not dumb enoughbto get a DLS...
