First Generation Tacoma Pics

ive seen some pics on this forum and looks like you off-road in major way. so when you say cutting front cab mounts back, is that so you can fit bigger tires? are you making any upgrade to cab mounts themselves? what kind of sliders are you going with? sorry if lame questions. i find this stuff fascinating, but im newb to the third degree. haha! :D

It is. Bigger tires, and keep the truck low. No upgrades to the mount, I’ll cut it, and plate it. Sliders are home built, and I’ll detail them once they’re on, with how I’m mounting them [emoji1303][emoji1303]

I welded some 1/2” pipe thru the frame, welded both sides of the frame. I wouldn’t want to do this with the body in place, but with the body off, this was the perfect time to make these removable, without a CBI style bracket.
 
Timing kit came in, so all new and installed now. Gotta do the valve cover gaskets this week, and install the front diff, and all associated, but should be putting the cab on this weekend.
