AD Jr as some of you know has an 18 SR5 DCLB in that really pretty blue that I couldn’t find when I bought my 17 ORDCLB. Anyway, he is sprucing it up some and has questions. Current sitrep-
1. He bought the sharp black 17 inch 4 Runner factory wheels
2. He bought this lift: https://www.rogue-offroad.com/product-p/tacostage1.5.htm

I’m pretty sure he’ll have the fender clearance for 285s, but ya reckon he’ll clear the ball joints? Should he consider a spacer behind those wheels?

Many thanks in advance

I looked around for a couple of minutes trying to find the backspacing of the wheel you're talking about... not certain but, most of the 5th gen 4-Runner wheels appear to have a 4.5" backspacing in the link down there... [emoji116]... so I'd say they're good to go as is... I had 285 and a 4.5 bs on my 2010, my current wheels have 4.25 with lots of clearance, Clarence... [emoji23]

Viola!

Apologies for limited pics of the front work, it went so smoothly that I didn’t bother taking pictures. AD Jr is grinning ear to ear, and old AD is fighting back the jealousy[emoji6]
