Looking at the 2015's...

Still looking for the perfect truck with all the options I want, yet still trying to get a bargain if that's possible. Here in Canada, prices seem crazy high...and there seems to be a fair amount of trucks out there, but many with excessively high mileage. A nice looking '15 with 295,000 km's (183K miles) for just under $30K? A '14 with 141km's for $34K... Looks like I may have to move on down to a 2008 or so, but that makes for another high mileage truck. Gosh, my '09 F450 King Ranch fully optioned, with well over 500 HP sold for $33K in top condition...hard to grasp on a mid sized truck, and unable to handle anywhere near the loads my Ford did. I bought a motorhome, or I'd still have that truck of course and this is the first time I've not had a truck in decades, but the Toyota's look like they'd be a great run around pickup, and the odd forestry road trek when I'm out photographing the landscape! At the moment, with the border closed, it seems buying south of the border isn't going to work either.

Those are really high resale prices. Not sure what's going on in Canada but with the high miles those prices are way out of line. I love my 2015 Double cab V6 4X4 but I would say even with the low miles I have of 24K it's probably worth 28-30k US dollars.

They seem like pretty high prices. I'm living in Newfoundland, and just purchased a 2015 Double Cab V6 4x4 (from a dealership) with 36,000 kms.. For less than $30,000. Our market in Newfoundland is pretty hectic for trucks, usually selling at full re-sale price or a little higher. Very rarely will you get a "bargain" here. If it were me, and someone was selling a 2015 with close to 300,000 or 200,000 kms for around $30,000 .. I'd be looking elsewhere lol.
