Just got my new 2016 TRD 4x4

That's what I thought immediately. I guess many Tacoma owners NEVER settle for the finer things in life...

I believe it is available as an option. I believe it is standard on the limited editions. If you have a compass on your mirror I was told it is already hardwired and you can now buy the mirror from dealer or EBay and it will plug right in and function correctly. I asked service about installing one and I was advised would be cheaper if I just installed it myself. As it is a simple plug and play mirror. Oh forgot to mention a expensive plug and play item...

Just bought my 2016 TRD 4X4 OFF-ROAD and I too wondered why no garage door opener. That should be standard option IMO.

It comes standard on limited right besides the light sensor on rear view mirror. Please look at brochure picture is clearly shown thier

I bought a keychain remote and stuck it to the overhead light/crawl control location with 2 small peices of double sided tape. Less than 30 bucks. Done
