Done with Tocamo

My 2010 F150 Crew long bed was totaled. Bought a 2017 Sport not questioning Toyota quality. Many of my friends have owned multiple Tacomas and Tundras. I don't haul or tow anything. I'm 70 years old. Don't need a hot rod or off road. The new drivetrain is a disaster.

Well I just spent 2 days on the road in my new F150 hauling a 6x12 trailer and I can tell you I love every mille I was in the seat. Now when I finally get done with kids in college would I consider a midsize truck again no way, which only 4 months away. Sorry the ride in and seating position on the new Tacoma blows, I feel like I am riding in a Camry. Good luck

Coming back and talking **** over and over isn't going to help. You and I know Tacomas are overrated but they are dependable (2nd gen anyway). You made your feelings known but it's time to move on from this forum.

I drive a 1st gen taco with over 265,000 and she runs like a mother in laws mouth! I can tow an 8ft trailer if I have to, but don't really need to cause it's equipped with a bed. Like the other fellas are sayin comparing a taco (mid size) to an f150 (full size) isn't fair. An f150 is made for hauling gardening equipment and weekend trips to the flea market. Tacomas are meant for taking over the world! (Joking) but really though, I've never seen an f150 on the rubicon... just sayin.

Omg MIL's mouth

No. No. No. I hate my work truck. Great for pulling, yes. You have to wear a sports bra (man or woman) because it is STIFF and on SC roads, one bump equals a black eye without proper restraint.

Lol! Gotta secure my moobs.

I've test driven them and they are no worse than my Tacoma.

Mine is a 2015. My Tacoma is a 2017. I'd prefer my Tacoma but it can't pull all the weight. Toyota bids for the state contracts are too high so we get Chevy or Ford. I had a Chevy before and loved it. I wanted to keep it but....it didn't look good to keep an 06 Chevy instead of driving the New Ford :/

I had a Ranger before my Tacoma. It was a good truck except for the clutch slave cylinder. I'd get another Ford but when I bought my Tacoma I didn't see a need for a large truck. I currently get 13 MPG with the supercharger which is less than a full size and I've had the truck squat with only 500 lbs in the bed.
