Hello everyone! First time Tacoma Owner here but a long time fan. I recently traded in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-Road (Black). I have been a Jeep owner and an off-road enthusiast since 2008. I have worked my entire adult life with various companies that supply Toyota MFG directly (Evaporative Canisters, Fuel Rails, Throttle Bodies, Suspension Bushings, CVJ Boots, Engine/Tranny Mounts, etc.) and have had the opportunity to visit most of the manufacturing facilities in North America, so I am well versed with the quality that our vehicles are built, now its time to put them to the test!! Looking forward to officially being a part of the Toyota Owners community.

Welocome to the forum. Let's see some pictures.

So.... after two weeks of ownership, someone pulled out in front of me from a secondary road today at lunch............. ON the plus side, no one was seriously injured. I only hope that insurance treats me right (no fault of mine) and replaces instead of trying to fix!!!!

Bummer!! At least everyone is ok. Hopefully they do just total it out and you get a new one. Keep us posted.

Dam! Glad you're ok. Hopefully the insurance company takes care of you and get you a new Tacoma Pro [emoji3]

Never heard of a Diminished value claim before now. In looking this up, it looks like it may help if pushed into a corner and forced to accept a repair. Thanks for the tip!!
