Brake booster is $$$$???

I think my brake booster may be ready for replacement soon.

The oem replacement is $800!!

Anyone use a reman or a generic part with success?

I wouldn't have a problem with getting one out of a wrecking yard even, they don't fail very often...

& it'd save a ton of $$$$$$$$$$...
 
I did, now I'm in someone else's but don't say anything, they don't know & I want it to be a surprise...

That’s not creepy at all...... congrats on the new living arrangements I guess. Lol
Back to the brake booster though— a salvage yard is the definite way to go. There’s so many totaled vehicles out there where you can get stuff so much cheaper. And like you said, a booster hardly ever goes bad and it would save a fortune.

A wrecking yard is def. your friend for **** like this, I love going (even if I don't really need anything) like a kid in a candy store haha...
