I need some advise on wheels. Was trying g to get SR8s or Ray 10s but haven't been able because they never got them in stock. I guess it's time to move and get something else. Looking for ideas. Thanks in advance. I want them in black, my truck is 2017 SR5 Magnetic Grey.

Have you tried going to a local tire shop? Black Friday deals are going on. If there is a discount tire by you I would go in and look at what they have.

Anyone have a good recommendation for some decent negative offset rims? 17 inch, not looking for stretched tires, just a nice lip on them

I agree with you. Discount tire give great deals on wheels and tires. Although my best friends dad is the store manager and I'm pretty much set lol

I have a 2016 sr5 and bought 2017 trd pro rims for it and there is a hiss hiss hiss sound on the 2 fronts pretty sure it’s the brakes , the person I got them from bought them for his 2015 4Runner and it flew the balance weights off one rim so I bought them thinking they be fine

Get them balanced

I think there’s some metal rubbing somewhere
The 2017 TRD wheels are 17” wheels the back spacing and offset are made for the 3rd gen Tacoma. Your 2016 SR5 brakes should fit just fine within the space given. If the wheels where in an accident and they are bent they could cause issues but they probably wouldn’t hold air well either.
Try swapping the rears to the front and see if it still makes the noise.

So at the tire shop and it ended up being the weights were stacked on each other Inside the rim ,they were removed replaced deeper inside the rim and rebalance before they were scraping against brake problem solved
