2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road - Cement

I wouldn’t mind the manual seats if I at least had a telescoping steering wheel

It’s almost worthless, though. It barely moves in any direction, which is one of my 3 complaints about the Tacoma. Toyota really needs to work on that. Especially, considering the 4Runner and Tundra have very good steering columns, with lots of adjustability.

I have several gripes, but I bought one anyway. First and foremost... drum brakes at the rear wheels. There's just no excuse for drum brakes on anything in this day and age. The tilt/telescope steering column may as well be fixed, since it barely moves an inch in any direction. It's almost completely worthless. No button start/proximity fob for the manual transmission models. But, you can get it on a $20k manual shift Corolla all day long. Someone needs to talk to these guys about this nonsense! lol
Drum brakes on the rear are fantastic. Sure, if you only drive on road, you might want discs (for ease of pad replacement), but the rear does so little in braking, you really gain nothing by going to discs. What you do gain (by having rear drums) is less crap getting stuck in them off road.
