Anytime you trade in a new vehicle or 18 month old vehicle, there is no "deal". I was a bit upside down on the truck at the time of trade in. But dealer paid the note off and im in a 4runner for $40 more per month. I can live with it. :)

I dont believe so but cant confirm my belief yet... with engine and tranny being different than the new tacomas, i assume rear end is different too. I traded my taco due to transmission issues. The diff leak just sealed the deal for me. 300 miles on new 4Runner and am enjoying a well sorted vehicle.

Im working on trading mine in on a new TRD PRO 4Runner. May skip the bucket and trunk monkey

My next add on will be a bucket under rear diff and a trunk monkey stationed under left front fender spraying wd40 on a squeeky suspension part.

I was under the impression the recall only affected sport models. My TRDOR diff is leaking, not on recall. Will be fixed under warranty. If leaks occur after warranty is up, guess we'll be paying for the fix.? One more thought leading me to think trading mine in is a good idea.

I work for a living, i make payments on my 2016 tacoma. The number details will stay hidden. Only thing that matters is I can afford it, so i bought it.

I get ya now. OR not on recall so may let me drive it until new gaskets are avail. But Sports are on recall so would likely hold it. Ill find out tomorrow. Calling first, not giving thwm a chance to hold it by showing up at dealer service drive thru

How can yhey send me on my way with it leaking? Recall or not, it needs to be fixed. Mines leaking on both sides of diff.
