    2016 off road, 42,000 trouble free miles. I picked up a 2018 Explorer Sport AWD, 3.5 eco boost with only 5,000 miles. I really had no use for a truck any more. It will be a good truck for somebody. Best of luck to you guys, I spent more time lurking than posting.

    The model I bought fits between the rails with an inch or more clearance on each side. I used j bolts to secure the box but could not get a good bite to make it feel secure. I ended up adding a 1/4” lag bolt on each side to make sure it stays put.

    Picked up a new tool box and was able to modify the factory tonneau cover to a perfect fit. Cover will remove easily with 2 bolts.
