Also lost my cruise control because of the Check Engine Light being on. Numerous codes and hoped it was just my fuel cap seal. Turns out it is a chewed through harness..daggum rodents! $6K is the estimate to replace the harness. Fortunately it is covered under my USAA policy. Dodged that bullet!
