I had flexidip on my wheels for about a year. Never chipped but i put clear protective spray over them so that might have helped. I recently took everything off using wd40 and a pressure washer.

Thanks. It's a low profile Kobalt box from Lowes. It's actually a Better Built box with the Kobalt name, and it's essentially from their Special Edition Crown Line because it has the handles instead of pull up latches. I'm not crazy about the Giant Logo but for $299, I'm not going to complain...

It's something I don't even notice now after having the truck for a month. I came from an Acura TSX so maybe that's the difference.

I've got a 2017 Off Road. Can't speak on the 2nd Gen because I'm new to Tacoma's but I love my truck.

Just bought a 2017 TRD Offroad today. No such vibrations in steering. I do have a little vibration in the accelerator though..
