Anyone out there with a 2016 experiencing erratic shift points in trans operation and flare up 2-3 upshift. Also slowing down lunges forward when coming to a stop.
It's 2 wheel drive with locking diff
 
I have a 2016trd off-road...wasn't having exactly what you are describing, but I was having the engine rev and then it would jump into gear. I took it to the dealership and they said it is a known service bulletin. My transmission fluid was low and they took care of it. The only way it will be fixed is if you say something specifically about it, otherwise they won't mention it. Just a suggestion/thought.
 
Had tsb done on my 2016 trd offroad. MUCH BETTER now. Mention to service manager. Request tsb be done
