4 wheel disc brakes

Interesting video. It seems to me that sand would get into the drums too. But now, I might be mistaken.

Well considering the fact that disc brakes are way more exposed to the elements than drummed brakes, still you're going to get some dirt/debris inside ,drums, if people remember to hose off in & around drums after off roading or any excessive mud, it shouldn't be an issue...

Everybody knows disc brakes are superior to drums. They even put 4 wheel discs on the Prius, why wouldn’t they put them on the Tacoma? What possible reason could there be? I can think of good reasons to start putting them on the Tacoma!
You can get all marty mcfry and doc old fart if ya want..

Go to tacomaworld.com and search for rear disc brake conversion, then read up the years and years of failures, then come back to 2017 again with clifford notes.

I still dont understand why anyine would want touchy discs in the rear of a truck with alot of plastic over the axle.

Even then, front brakes do a HUGE majority of the actual braking.

Get better fronts pads, rotors, fluid, lines, kill the abs, and stop just fine.
