6" lift with 16" rims?

Ok, so now I'm reading that you have to have 17" rims or higher to run 6" suspension lift? Read that on pro comp site. Is that just for their lift, or all of them? Rough country only says recommended size 17". Doesn't say it's necessary

All as far as I know. I believe it has to do with the steering knuckle.

it's because of the ginormous spindle that goes with the lift, certain wheels dont fit

I talked to a guy who sells the rough country lift, and he says 16's will fit with the proper back spacing, or with spacers. I emailed rough country though to see what they have to say

Yup. Talked to rough country, they say 16" will fit with 4.5 backspace. Thank god, don't have money for another set of rims & tires. Just bought the ones I got last month lol

Yup. 6" with 16's. I think it only worked because I'm running 33's with it
