1.6 Quarts with API GL-5 SAE 80w-90 for below 0 degrees F
90W for above 0 degrees F

APL GL-5 SAE 75w-90
1.1 quarts

You are talking a 6 cylinder correct.

A 4 cylinder front diff gets 75w-90 all temps. Don't know why there is a difference but that's what the manual says. Transfer case the same for both.

Big block!

Sorry got tied up chatting with a guy that owns an '07 sport that's hopefully going to meet up with me down at Kansas rocks 10th anniversary bash this Sat for some wheelin. He's waiting on a new driveshaft, should have it today or tomorrow. If your free you should come down for the party. We'll be there Sat & Sun $15 at the gate to wheel all day Sat 8am ~ midnight $15 for Sunday till 5pm. Live band 430-730pm.
He's got a really nice rig. So far 240 people are registered for the event. Lots of rigs and lots of trails. Here's a gif of his rig.

Just take care of the normal maintenance. No need for anything special.

Before the trip you may want to double check fluid levels and the condition of the serp belt.

Its a PITA to have a belt fail when in the boondocks of nowhere.
