I did my full synthetic oil change and 4 new denso iridium tt spark plugs. I feel like it drives better but my mps are not doing good. Should I wait for after a full tank since I did the service. 60k

Where the plugs gapped for a Tacoma?

I was told by a Toyota mechanic they come pre-gapped. Is this not so ?

I recently bought a 2011 four cylinder Tacoma extended cab and have been douching all the fluids and filters that I can possibly do.
Plugs too.
I am not aware of gapping them for a Toyota.
Now I’m questioning myself. Lol

I’ve done the same thing but mine seems to drive great.
And I was told the plugs are pre-gapped.

I was told by a Toyota mechanic they come pre-gapped. Is this not so ?

I would always make sure the plugs are gapped to the correct length before installing them.

if you get the correct part number, they are supposed to be properly gapped, out of the box. I check them anyway...they have always been correct.
