My truck is on the road 100% of the time right now I don't plan on off reading until the warranty is up and I also will be replacing it with an afe stage 2 intake anyways
 
The dry flow filter from AFE let's a lot of crap through. I had a picture of my super dusty intake tube when I was running one with my TRD intake but it's gone now. I ditched my TRD intake because it didn't do anything.
 
It's just not really physically possible to have something flow easily while having good filtering ability. you'd need something with large pores to allow airflow...but small pores to filter particulate
 
So is it not recommended to run an AFE Pro Dry S with my 4" deck plate mod on my first gen? :notsure:
 
There is a little gain in throttle response and a tiny boost in fuel economy I ran a k&n in my old Camry and it helped it hugely with everything
 
I'm running Fram TGs for oil & the TRD CAI for air.
