any ideas??

I have a 1996 taco 4wd with the 2.7. it died the other day, the fuse to the fuel pump went out, I went ahead and replaced the fuel pump and now it idels fine but when put under a load it misses terribly ?? please help

#1 on the list is clogged fuel filter.
When was the last time you changed it?

I changed the filter when I did the fuel pump??

Its getting fuel , no leaks? was wondering about the fuel pressure regulator??

Okay , Fuel pump, Fuel filter , and pressure regulator replaced. Still the same problem!!! I am at a loss??? on this any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm. So it idles fine but misses when it gets up to speed?

Hum ok well I'm going to be lazy and just scan what the manual says.
Oh and this is from the Haynes Repair Manual Tacoma, 4Runner & T100, Tacoma '95~'04, 4Runner '96~'02, T100 '93~98 All 2wd & 4wd models.

Yeah I would defiantly check for vacuum leaks

I have not, I put a idle air control valve, complete tune up?? I think I may have gotten some bad gas???
