Anyone now how to remove the glove box?

I’m trying to paint the TACOMA letters on the glove box door, I found a cool new technique where you fill a syringe with paint and then inject the paint in the letter molds and it comes out perfect even better then decals however gravity would present a problem unless it’s removed, has anyone out there removed it before? any help would be appreciated

I haven’t tried to get my 2017 OR Glove box out but... wait for it... I own one so I went and tried to get it out and broke it...

Haha. That sucks man. First the drivers seat and now the glove box. The dealership is going to be wondering what you’re doing to your truck.

Don’t know if it will help but here’s the diagrams for the dashboard in a 17 Tacoma.
Would try mine but I don’t want to end up like OR17TRD! lol

2nd gen you would open, push the sides of the compartment in, open more than normal and then just pull it away from the hinge.

Yeah, I looked at mine. It definitely doesn’t seem as easy as the second gen’s were.

Seems like it might be all one piece. I’d try taking 1 off then unscrewing 2&3 and seeing what’s holding it on after that.

I should go to a dealer and just rip the glove box out and see how it's held in.

Really ?? He keeps breaking **** on truck , takes it back to dealer, get it fixed, repeat... (I think he's going for the lemon law for truck replacement)...haha
