Bed cover fit

I know for fact that a 2nd gen camper top is incompatible with 3rd gens but what about solid top bed covers? Have an Undercover solid bed cover I can get for my 16 model that came off a 15. Don’t care to drive 120 miles to get and it not fit.

Bed rails aren’t the same. The tailgate and the cab rail are different.
