So, i have the chance of a mint 2002 taco, 290k, mint for 8k
or
2005 taco , 212k for 10k
or
2010 taco , 4 door, 120k mint for 22k
Damn , Heelllpppppp? :D

That’s a little overpriced on the 2002 also. With that high of miles anyway.
What are the trim levels of the trucks? 4x4? Engine size? Cab size?

thats not a box liner.
starting in 2005 to current, tacomas have polymer (plastic) beds..... find 1, reach thru the wheel well an tap on the bed....its aint steel

Damn, I’m always dumbfounded when I see the prices people ask for 10 and 20 year old Tacoma’s.

I literally had someone offer me $24k for mine a few months back (it’s a 2015 with 35k miles and the original window sticker was just under $28k). I’ve never owned a vehicle before that deprecated as little as my Tacoma.

Good thing you didn't sell. It's worth more than 24k

Maybe $6-7,000 for the ‘02. It books for about $6,500 top but it’s also pretty pristine it sounds like.
Maybe $8-9,000 for the ‘05 since it’s high book is about $8,500 and it has a new frame/springs.
Maybe $18-19,000 for the ‘10 model (like OR17TRD said). It’s definitely the most overpriced it seems like.
It pretty much boils down to what you want the most and which seller will budge on price.

'02 ,rust free, 290k is a few miles , if you can document any maint. records (if maintained that way) I'd do a compression check if possible , single quickest way to get a feel on engine life , along with the usual things you check for, leaks, previous damage (bondo clusters in the light ) etc; , Should get it for $6500, no more than $7k

The 2005 ? they did have an issue with the motor mounts, can't remember if it was the left or right or both, If this has been changed if condition is as advertised consider it.. (again , with frame replacement is an easy thing to prove, this is good)

The 2010, kinda pricy but not unreasonable place to start the bidding

You must be a fellow Canadian,
I'd make an offer on the '05. Check it thoroughly for rust because if the frame had to be replaced, the rest of it may not be far behind. I bought an '07 TRD Off Road a few years back with the same options and 192k kilometers. It's just an excellent truck and when I first brought it home, my wife thought it was brand new.
$10,000 doesn't seem too bad but make an offer and see what happens. It seems crazy that a 12 year old truck with over 200,000 km's would be selling for that kind of money but that's the beauty of owning a Tacoma. People want them.

Its not in the OP which is what u replied to.

It just says ...K
