Can I use the stock shocks/struts from 2018 Tacoma TRD OffRoad on 1999 4Runner?

I’m thinking of mods on my pickup and also want to replace the old struts on my old 4Runner. Would it work? I wouldn’t need to sell the replaced parts:)

I know for sure that the tire sizes on two trucks are identical!
 
Unfortunately no. A 99 Runner is a 3rd gen which is uses the same suspension as a 1st gen Tacoma. Later Tacomas (05 and up) have different suspension.
