Color matched grille

I sanded my grille and spray painted it and clear coated it but it is chipping like crazy and I just want to buy a grill that looks similar to this in color that is completely “super white” and I can not find one anywhere please help

Did you prime it before painting? How many coats of paint? I would do at least 5 coats of white and 3 clear on a grill, but that's just me.

I did not prime it but I did sand it pretty well... I did 6 coats of white and 4 of clear

I’m not sure when the original posts were made. To prevent chipping, you need special paint with a flex additive like what is used on bumpers. Three good coats of color and clear should pretty nice.
