Coolant Flush

Hey guys, I have an 06 with 100k and looking to do a coolant flush at home. Came across this u tube link that looks helpful.


Anyway, any suggestions on methods to use or opinions on aftermarket vs factory T stat replacements? I'm not going to replace anything else unless someone has a good story as to why I should. Thanks again for you guys, I wouldn't know **** without you.
 
What about replacement T stats? Any product will do or buy a Toyota product. I see Beck Avery makes one, so does Gates.
