Differentials

I was recently given a 2012 Tacoma Double Cab SR5 4WD, I'm trying to figure out what kind of differentials it has. (Open, Limited Slip?) My last Yota was a Sport 4Runner which had an offroad setup, not sure what to expect from this.

Im not positive but i think its open unless you have a trd package which comes with the locker

Without a Trd package it's just an open I believe. Congrats on the truck! It was given to you?! Lucky... Haha

I had a 2009 TRD sport w/out a locking rear diff. My 2012 has one though.

Mine is a 2011 TRD SPORT 4 DR SHORT BED 4WD. I don't have a locking rear end.
