When you say great HP gain........how much are you talking about? Or how much do you THINK you gained.

Ok. I have the TRD exhaust. But I'm also running a URD TCAI and MAF calibrator. I was a nice gain. Nothing major. Same as you. Quick response and not loud.

Is it a deeper sound or more of a rice burner-ish sound? I watched a video on YouTube but it was more rice burner-ish. Wanting a deeper, throatier sound but not sure what to get. Also, what about drone?

It's deeper not rice at all. It's a race Baja exhaust. Quiets on long drives. Gives good boost. I love it
