factory alarm ?

last night I went to get into my truck and when I unlocked my truck. the alarm went off like it was working but it locked the doors back. my lights cut off and on then went off when it stopped making the sound. was that because someone done something to it ?

Hard to say as i dont have factory alarm... most give a notable 3 or 4 chirps instead of the normal 2 chirps when the alarm has been triggered at a prior time.

Maybe someone else can chime in soon with a factory alarm.

For now, id pay attention to how it starts, make sure battery terminals are clean and tight, and maybe get battery tested until someone else can verify what you experienced was indeed a factory warning.

I disconnected my battery terminals, and it disabled my alarm. I had to reprogram it, and it went back to its normal functions . I also have a factory alarm. You can YouTube how to reset your factory alarm it’s not hard it took me like 3 min to reset
