I bought the following OEM fog light kit:

Following a couple of the forums on TacomaWorld, I determined that my 18 SR was indeed pre-wired by removing the collar around the steering column and seeing the add’l wires in the left connector.
The only directions included in the kit were the diagram attached below.
Lights are plugged in
Red (positive) connected to battery terminal
Black (ground) connected to ground post by battery
Male end connected to female side of extension cable, and passed through the firewall
Male end of extension cable connected to female end of switch side cable
Black (ground) connected to airbag ground post
Switch installed to left of steering wheel with switch plug connected
It’s the red (positive) wire I’m unsure of. Those forums say a few different things with regard to this. The switch doesn’t illuminate in any position. The dash indicator doesn’t light.
My turn signal/headlight post looks like it has a fog light position already ( Off/ DRL/ foglight symbol/ headlights)
Any help y’all can provide would be greatly appreciated
