I own a 97 tacoma-it has the blue denso pintle type injector-federal emission-i want to upgrade to the denso pink Ca emission injector-i have seen pink injector offered for 98 to 04 tacoma-why is the 97 excluded? its getting confusing-i have looked on Ebay-seller is offering a direct replacement for the 2 hole with a 4 hole injector-it has no part number-when i punch in the number the old style injector pops up-i have also seen bosch 4 hole offered with a universal pigtail because its different than denso style. Disk type injectors have pros and cons but one of the advantages they offer is smoother idle. Can someone please point me in the right direction for injector upgrade with multi-hole style?
