Haw can i protect this spot

I'd go to walmart and buy a cheap set of floormats with a similar design to your existing mats and cut one down to slide under your existing floormats and up under your seat. If you have a heat gun you could heat it at the bend so it conforms to the floor.
 
What do you clean the carpet with? It looks like a spray that bleached the carpet.

Ammonia? Can degrade carpet fibers, cause color dyes to become unstable, and remove manufacturer static and stain guard finishes.

Dish detergent? The residue attracts surrounding dirt that can create a large soil stain worse than before.

Of course, even if these are the cause, it doesn't tell you what to do now.
 
The day after I brought my truck home I removed all of the seats and used Scotchguard on the carpet and seats. Spills or drips wipe up.
