Heat/air fan

I have an ‘06 access, TRD OR. No mods. 190,###. Suddenly my heat blower only operates on high.
Switch? Motor? Something else?
Strangely and probably not related, the cruise switch seems to be functioning improperly sometimes.
Anybody encountered such?

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like a bad switch.

+1 on the switch. If it was the heater motor it wouldn't work at all. Cruise control is probably also the switch. Beings that you said that the cruise control just doesn't work sometimes leads me to the switch, if it was acting irregular like gaining or loosing speed I'd say a sensor.

It's a bad connection where the wire plugs into the fan, near the floor on my 13 model. For a possible temp fix, unplug and return about 10 times. Tacoma world has many posts on this common problem.

It's only a temp fix, but I've been going for a few months so far.

That worked. Wow. I’ll hang on to the resistor until it quits for good.

I plan on soldering the connections eventually, then no more plug problems.
