Wow that’s crazy low miles. How much are they asking for it? If you don’t mind me asking. Frame rot is yes.I’m going to look tomorrow at a 4wd version with 6 cylinders and manual transmission. It has 40K miles on it. What do I need to scrutinize besides frame rot?
It will give you recalls and TSBs that are outstanding. That seems like a good deal. I saw a 2004 for 16k that had 110k miles on it. Same 4x4 extracab. It was really clean but I thought that was low miles. It's a private sale from the original owner. I've never owned a Toyota or bought a used vehicle before. But I'm interested in this smaller truck so that I can mod it with some aftermarket bumpers, winch, and larger tires. What will supplying the VIN on Toyota's website yield me?
The seller is asking $12.5K

Bought golden boy today. Has 44733 miles on the odometer. The frame looked good. The original owner said he had it coated at the dealer when new. The only negatives that I could see besides paint scuffs and scratches was some oil around the rear wheels on both sides. I don’t know if that’s a brake leak problem or perhaps leaky axle seals. I suspect the latter. Not sure how hard that is to fix. I’m not familiar with these vehicles. It also has a slight shimmy over 50 mph. The original owner wasn’t sure why. Wheel balance? U-joints? Congrats on the find. Welcome to the forum. The shimmy at 50 could be as simple as wheels need balanced. Maybe go star pattern and tighten the lugs to 85 lbs. If that doesn’t fix the shimmy let us know we will keep thinking.Bought golden boy today. Has 44733 miles on the odometer. The frame looked good.
