After installing my leveling kit, the lower control arm bushings went bad. Any ideas on how that could've happened?????

1. Only one thread needed per topic.
2. Leveling kit probably means spacer which means junk.
3. How old is your truck and did you get an alignment done after the install?

1. Sorry about that.
2. Old man emu I think.
3. Yes. I'm A.S.E. certified in steering and suspension, and brakes, but I've never seen this happen before.

I have seen that happen if they over extend your shocks to much which will give you a very rough ride. On all 3.0 lifts 30 inches from center of hub to fender. I've seen it before where others are trying to get a highest lift than lift was designed for. If your going to extend higher than 30 inches would consider installing total chaos upper and lower control arms which are designed for long travel... Just my 2 cents and Toytech advice..

When installing any of these kits you must loosen the lower control arms. Because they are a galvanized pushing where it does not rotate. So when they put The spacer in they just lowered by fours the control arm which bound up the rubber which makes it go bad
