Maintenance light

Maintenance light came on before 5k but I did change the oil around 3k ago. When i changed the oil I did it before the light came on so does it not reset when you change the oil? And just always turns on at 5k no matter what ?

It doesn't reset itself. Reset it using the following procedure:

Select ODO (black gauges) or Trip A (white gauges) with the key off. Push and hold the trip button and turn the key to on. The display will show a countdown of dashes and then 00000 when done. Let go of the button and you are done.
